My food ate my fashion: skirt season

my food ate my fashionEver since I laid my eyes on this skirt and coat combo I can’t stop thinking about it. The skirt dances on the street, the superb coat adds even more elegance and the dark moody wall is the perfect background. Almost like a painting from the Golden Age. Off course I can get why this fig cake ate that skirt. I wanna take a bite myself too.

Colors that touch a heart

colors like duskThese are the colors on my mind these days. Fragile hints of pink, lilac, marsala (reddish browns), frosted red and nudes. And those colors don’t only work for dancing shoes, culottes, kimonos or leather jackets. Think of tables, paint your wooden cutting boards, cover up your cushions. And last but not least, red hair’s have more fun.

My food ate my fashion: basic style

food fashionJust because it’s so comfortable. I can’t get enough of white sneakers and long coats. No it’s not quirky, but an quintessential basic. Ideal for transitioning season between winter & spring. No thinking, no stress, just instant comfort. Like a good home made bread: simple and astonishing, no matter how often you have them. PS the color of that brown wool coat is amazing, isn’t it? (fashion image by The Fasion Medley, pretzel bread via My name is yeh).

Ik blijf fan van de lange jas en witte sneakers. Het is geen modisch hoogstandje, maar een heerlijke basis. Altijd goed en ideaal voor onze schizofrene (more…)
